The spindle is an electromechanical assembly used to rotate the tool axis on CNC machines. According to the required torque and rotational speed for the machining, various models of spindle have been produced. Spindles generally have a rotational speed in the range of 2000 to 50,000 rpm. High-speed and low-speed spindles are often used in the wood industry and the metal industry respectively.
Sometimes, in designing certain CNC machines requires a specific spindle model with specific torque, speed, and dimensions that is not available in the market. In this case, a special spindle should be designed based on the desired parameters. With sufficient knowledge and experience in this field, IPTEC can manufacture custom-made spindle models according to the industry needs.
Designed and manufactured exclusively for doing drilling operation in SM-50 machine, this spindle has an off-axis characteristic to minimize the error in the positioning of the holes. This miniature spindle has dimensions of ɸ92 × 310 mm.
